Clash of NFTs
When you click the "Start Duel" button after selecting an opponent, the Duel Page reloads with an exciting new UI, as shown in the image above. Here's how the game unfolds:
Player's NFT Details:
On the left side of the UI, you can see your NFT and on right side of UI your opponent's NFT with their vital details, including:
NFT Name: The title or name of your NFT.
NFT Image: A visual representation of your NFT.
Health: Your NFT's current health points.
NFT Traits: These include "Attack-Capacity," "Defense-Capacity," "Health-Capacity," "Level," and "XP."
NFT Duel Mechanics
Engage in thrilling battles between two NFTs, each representing a player's unique digital asset. Here's how the duel unfolds:
Participants:
Attacker NFT: The player's chosen NFT designated for offense.
Defender NFT: The opponent's selected NFT acting as the defender.
Outcome Updates:
XP Gain: Both the attacker and defender NFTs earn 1 XP at the duel's conclusion, fostering their progression.
Level Advancement: The attacker NFT's level increases automatically. The defender NFT's level also rises if it started the duel with a lower level and emerges victorious.
Moves and Clash:
In the center, between both NFTs, you'll find four icons arranged clockwise, representing the four moves you can make during the game:
HEAL: A move that tries to restore your NFT's health.
GRAB: A strategic move to control the flow of the duel.
DEFEND: A defensive maneuver to protect your NFT from incoming attacks.
ATTACK: The offensive strike to deal damage to your opponent.
NFT Clash's computer algorithm operates in the background to choose the defender's move randomly. Then, the clash occurs, taking into account the moves made from both sides, NFT properties, and each NFT's health points. Most of the time, the health of either or both NFTs will decrease, but occasionally, their health may increase as well.
The importance of NFT Levels
Higher-level NFTs enjoy several advantages:
Increased Health: Enhances survivability during duels.
Amplified Damage: Boosts the potency of attacks.
Enhanced Rewards: Higher-level NFTs yield greater rewards in the Stake Page, enhancing their value and utility.
Equilizing Imbalance of NFT Levels:
To equalize the imbalance between higher-level attacker NFTs and lower-level defender NFTs, there's a unique rule. If the attacker loses to a lower-level defender NFT, the attacker must pay double the duel price.
Daily Duel Limit
Each unique attacker-defender NFT pairing allows one duel between the same NFTs of two players per day.
Attackers can swap their attacker NFTs to challenge the same defender NFT of their opponents multiple times within the same day.
Defenders can swap their defender NFTs, potentially increasing the level of their NFT and enhancing their chances in future duels.
